James "Jay" E. Crowe, Jr. is a magna cum laude graduate of Mercer University and a 2003 graduate of Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law. Jay has handled numerous cases involving wrongful death, motor vehicle and tractor trailer accidents,
medical malpractice and nursing home claims, personal injury and complex insurance litigation
and has assisted clients in both simple and highly complex civil litigation matters.
In addition to his private practice, Jay Crowe was elected Solicitor General for Worth County State Court in 2020 and served in that role until his appointment by Governor Brian Kemp to the position of State Court Judge of Worth County in 2025. He also served as the Solicitor for the City of Sylvester for over 13 years, as president of the Sylvester Kiwanis Club, Chairman of the Worth County Chamber of Commerce, member of the Worth County Building Authority Board, and Chairman of the Worth County Economic Development Authority.
The firm serves the residents of Worth County Georgia, as well as the surrounding counties, including: Crisp County, Tift County, Turner County, Colquitt County, Dougherty County, Irwin County, Lee County, Mitchell County, Sumter County, among others.
